b conzept CSR-strategy and environmental policy

b conzept is constantly working towards meeting customers' and society's wishes and demands for environmentally friendly products and environmentally friendly production. It is thus b conzepts CSR strategy and environmental policy to show social responsibility and protect the environment.
It is a focus in the operation and development of our own business, while we through our memberships of the industry and industrial associations work with the same objective.
The CSR strategy of b conzept is to drive the business through responsible and sustainable business processes in all areas where possible.
The most important environmental impacts in our business arise from our procurement of products, the use of the products and the products' subsequent disposal as waste.
Thus, our policy is:
•    Asking for and as far as possible obtaining documentation for the chemical substances that are included in our sales products.
•    To avoid products containing CMR substances and substances that are very harmful to health * and substances classified as environmentally hazardous **
•    To use reusable or recycled materials whenever possible and legal in relation to requirements for, for example, traceability and hygiene.
•    Trying to design products in a way that they can be separated into material fractions when they sooner or later must be disposed of as waste. This is especially important for products that contain electrical or electronic parts or other parts that are likely to be disposed of separately.
•    To set requirements and, as far as possible, obtain documentation for the suppliers' environmental conditions - in particular, waste management, discharges to soil, air and water and the supplier's choice of materials.
•    In our advice to customers in relation to the choice of products, try to avoid products with a very short lifespan and promote less environmentally harmful solutions and products.
•    To have an overview of relevant environmental legislation, ensure its updating and ensure that our products and companies always comply with this.

In addition, b conzept has certification on manufacturer's responsibility from El return and complies with the legislation's requirements for disposal of electrical appliances.
To support our CSR strategy and environmental policy, b conzept has prepared a Code of Conduct, (CoC), which is to create and promote responsible production principles and promote the social responsibility of our suppliers.
The purpose of our Code of Conduct is hence to ensure that suppliers and their suppliers produce and deliver services in a way that accounts for the environment and employee rights.
It is a requirement that suppliers ensure that our Code of Conduct is disseminated and complied with by all their subcontractors.
In regards to the audit of our suppliers' production conditions and their compliance with our CoC, it is also possible for our customers to self-audit the same.
Read more about the Code of Conduct within b conzepts in the separate document on this topic.
In addition to adhering to our own CoC, we also comply with the EPPA's Code of Conduct, where EPPA is the European Promotional Product Association.
